RE: Cape Cod Campgropund suggestions please

Two others are Peters Pond in Sandwich, which is close to the canal, and Sweetwater Forest in Brewster which is Mid Cape. Since she is considered an extra adult by the campground you are going to have to pay extra for the 18 year old daughter. Keep in mind that the traffic can be very heavy during June, July and August so if you stay anywhere along the canal you are going to spend most of your time in heavy traffic if you want to see other parts of the Cape. By the way Sweetwater Forest is very convenient to the Cape Cod Rail Trail if your family is into biking. Websites: Peters Pond Sweetwater Forest PS: We have stayed at both and would return.

RE: Ohio to Rhode Island?

What part of RI are you headed to, there is major construction on I-95 just South of Providence. Locally it is referred to as the "Iway", a lot of stop and go traffic.

RE: Old Orchard Campgrounds

Any thoughts on the Old Orchard Beach KOA? We stayed there a few years ago and enjoyed it very much, would go there again. Very close to the water park, can't remember the name.

RE: Camping close to Cleveland, OH

We too liked the KOA in Streetsboro when we were there three years ago and will be there in July, DW has family in the area. We checked out the Sandusky area and determined it was to far for our purposes. Sandusky is 65.5 miles from Cleveland according to MapQuest

RE: How to check if truck charges trailer while towing

On my 2001 Expediiton the fuse is in the engine compartment fuse block. Mine also has a full height relay also in the same block, to ensure there is no power to the trailer charging circuit if the key is in the off position. In mine the relay and the fuse came in a plastic bag in the glove box and I had to put it in myself.

RE: Does anyone have a gate INSIDE the door to keep dog in?

We use the baby gate and it works great. I think we got it at Salvation Army, Goodwill or some other local thrift store.

RE: Cleveland, Ohio area camping

We have stayed at the Cleveland/Streetsboro KOA and had very easy access to Metro Cleveland. Since DW has family in the area we found the KOA very central to every place we wanted to be. Another place that your wife and children might enjoy is the Great Lakes Science Center and as mentioned the Rock and Roll hall of fame, the hall alone will take four to five hours to see everything. Both of these are next door to each other. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Great Lakes Science Center Discover Ohio

I use a dry lubricant called McLube, available from West Marine or BoatUS and many others. May want to check with a Marina for a dry lubricant for sailboats. Just my 0.02

RE: Campground near Cleveland, Ohio

Not from Cleveland, DW is, when we were last there three years ago we stayed at The Cleveland/Streetsboro KOA, in Streetsboro. They should be able to handle a 31 foot TT. As far as how close it is to Crocker Park, I do not know.

RE: Why did you replace the circuit board on your onan?

I know very little about generators but there are several people on this forum that are experts. If you publish the exact model number, serial number and any error codes they will be able to help you with your generator problem.

RE: How do I get my RV back to Massachusetts

We bought our HTT form a Southern Ct. dealer at the Western Mass Campers Association Show in West Springfield and did everything in two trips to the dealer. We did a trade so when we went down with our PUP we got the necessary paper work for the new HTT, took it to the insurance company and got it added to our policy then went to DMV and registered it. I got my camper plates, went back to the dealer and completed the transaction. This was financed and the title went to the bank. This is what worked for us. _____________________________________________________________ Jim & Sylvia Two sons in college Two Dogs 2001 Ford Expedition 2000 Palamino Stampede 21-SDSL

RE: No hot water, no water from hot side

I would also check the water filter to ensure it isn't clogged and the pressure reducer may be clogged or going bad.

RE: Best campground near Cleveland?

We have stayed at the Streetsboro KOA in 2004 and found it convenient to everywhere we wanted to go in Metropolitan Cleveland. We haf a full hookup sight, they had free showers and at the time pay wifi. We are thinking of staying there this summer. We have also stayed at the Jelleystone in Mantua and enjoyed our stay there also and may return. We too have no problem with the noise. We found costs at both to be average for the area

RE: Kings Dominion Campground

We stayed there several years ago in a PUP, and didn't hear the trains at all. I agree that it is a very nice facility, my then young boys had a great time. Would definitely stay there again.
